“Friendly staff”

I liked the free water and tea and I like the location, but sometimes the tea ran out.

“Absolutely horrible, disgusting and filthy.”

The only bright spot was the staff who tried their best to help. The place was absolutely dirty; it seemed like it hadn't been cleaned since the last guest. As soon as we entered, the room was stinky, and we discovered rotten food in the bin that hadn't been emptied, so we had to remove and clean it ourselves. The bed linen was filthy, covered in hair and dirt marks. When we asked for a change, they handed us a bedsheet and two pillowcases that were still wet from washing, so we spent the night on a damp sheet because it was too late to do anything else. The shower drain was blocked and filled up while we showered. The location was good, with most main attractions within walking distance, and the receptionist was helpful. That's the only positive I can point out. It's a budget hotel, so I don't expect perfection, but a little more effort on cleanliness would have helped.

I was really pleased with the hotel's location, but unfortunately, the bathroom and toilet were in a state of mildew. It was quite a letdown after enjoying the hotel's great setting.
