In the center of the town, good parking, a great bed and a good coffee machine, all finished with a very friendly owner.

“Krásný apartmán v centru Lomnice”

The apartment was beautifully decorated and tastefully arranged, and the rooftop terrace gave a lovely view of the local castle. We were surprised how much a tiny town can offer – from a pastry shop and cafés to a museum, a castle with a café and exhibition, parks, a carousel, two lookout towers, pubs, a cinema, and a city walk. The clean mountain air made the whole experience feel like a sweet treat.

We stayed here on the second day of our long walk along the Golden Path. The place is a bit off the main trail, but the central location and spacious room were great. We ran into a couple of hiccups – no clear instructions on where to find the key, so we had to ask strangers and later call the owner, and we couldn't take a warm shower at first because of renovations, but that was sorted out eventually.

The design is really interesting, full of antiques, and you can enjoy coffee on a large terrace. The downside is that the glass doors inside the apartments have poor sound insulation, and it's hard to locate the address because the buildings don't have street names or numbers.

The room was comfortable, but we were disappointed that there was no breakfast option available during our stay.
