The room was spacious enough for us to relax, and the large desk and desk stand were also convenient for work.

The property is great, as a well‑maintained upscale hotel/resort should be. What really matters to travelers like me is the staff and how kind they are, and they really impressed me. I planned to propose to my long‑term girlfriend at the Top of Hanoi or Pharaoh Bar. Nhi, the back‑office staff, was very sweet and thrilled to accommodate my request. Mr. Huy San, the gentleman at reception, is a gem—kind, coordinated with all the staff from reception, Top of Hanoi, Pharaoh Bar, and was more excited than I was about my proposal. I’ve stayed in many countries and many places, but I’ve never seen such caring and accommodating staff who make you feel at home. My fiancée always wanted a romantic European town for a proposal, but after our experience she said, “I’m glad you did it here, in this hotel; the people here are sweethearts.” They went beyond their usual routine to make it happen, something not possible in places like Europe or the United States, where everything is by the book. I would come again, maybe just for my kind, sweet friend Mr. Huy San, lighting up the reception at Lotte, Hanoi.
