Hampton Inn and Suites New Iberia

I’ve stayed here many times and like the brand and location, but the elevators were out of order, the front door was broken, and a ceiling in the hallway leaked.

Breakfast was great, yet the room smelled bad, the carpet was wet, and the TV had a poor connection.

I received water bottles right away; the pool could have been larger.

“Dirty green pool, dirty moldy bathroom with apparent water damage and black mold”

The location was good and the bed was comfortable, but I booked and paid for a suite and ended up with a regular room; the hotel couldn’t refund the difference because it “came also” and there’s no real way to reserve or guarantee the room type I chose. The pool was unusable, which was a main reason I booked this place, and I wouldn’t let my kids use it because it felt like a UTI’s; the bathroom shows obvious water damage and black mold on the toilet, and you can tell they only sweep since the floor probably hasn’t been mopped since 1992.
