The location is very good, not far from the old town and also reachable from the train station (about 15 to 20 minutes by bus). The staff were very nice. We arrived a bit later in the evening and they waited for us specifically because we hadn’t checked in yet. The room could have been a bit more spacious, but it was fine for us since we were only there for one night.

I stayed in a comfy room and the breakfast was great, but there were no towels at arrival and housekeeping had to come back to drop them off. On the day I was leaving, the front desk tried to lock the door twice before I had finished checking out—once right after I walked my dog and before I could lock the door, while my husband was still in bed.

The hotel sits directly opposite the Festspielhaus, and the staff are very friendly with a good breakfast buffet; I’d definitely return. There’s nothing to criticize.

The location is perfect for anyone, like me, attending shows at the Festspielhaus—just cross the street! Every staff member, from reception to breakfast, is very welcoming, making the stay feel wonderful; I highly recommend this place.
