“A great place to stay in Whitby”

The room was very comfortable and peaceful, and it even had a good little coffee machine. The house sits in a quiet spot but still close enough to the town centre. The owners were friendly and helpful, and breakfast offered a wide range of excellent options.

We had a great stay at Rosslyn House; the host was lovely and very welcoming. Everything was spotless clean, and breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The room we stayed in was perfect for us and came with nice extras, too. Nothing at all.

The position was excellent, making it easy to get into town and park. The place was very clean and had good facilities. The only downside was that we were in room 4 at the very top of the house, with the final stairs through a fire door and narrow stairs.

“Some good points but we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.”

Breakfast, staff, cleanliness and location were all very good. However, had we known we were in an attic room with 3 flights of stairs we would have looked elsewhere. The bed was too soft and creaked every time we moved. The shower cubicle was very small, and it wasn’t what I would call luxurious.
