The hotel's cleanliness and the pleasant demeanor of the man who checked us in
The evening meal was a real highlight, and it's safe to say that it was one of the best dining experiences I've had at a hotel
The staff were friendly and welcoming

“Very enjoyable stay in a great hotel. Thanks for making the 80th birthday celebration most memorable”
Lovely place to stay. Great room and great breakfast
“Amazing staff and great food!”
The staff were incredible - couldn’t do enough for you. Although the room was a basic twin room, the beds were very comfortable and the shower was a good size. Great food especially the breakfast - good selection and quality !. The room was a little old with a couple of cracks and some dust but relatively clean!
“Food and staff were excellent. Friendly and welcoming.”
The room was clean and bright. It was quite small, and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell.
Attended a wedding; the function room was lovely and the staff were very helpful. Asked for room service breakfast, but we were told only a cold buffet was available, which was a bit disappointing. Hot breakfast on the terrace was limited and I had to ask every time for a coffee refill instead of a pot of coffee. Tried to turn the heating up in the room but it didn't work, so it felt a little cold.
“I would stay there again , I would have different expectations.”
Pleasant location, attractive grounds, lovely staff. The room was comfortable. The restaurant was not very attractive, the food was not great, and the passages were very dark. A lot of carpet felt a little musty. The reception area was lovely, but it felt like the further into the building you went, the more it was a different hotel, which was a little disappointing.
