La Grange aux Coqs

“alles top. immer wieder zu empfehlen”

The three‑sided courtyard is very pretty, the holiday apartment is idyllic, the hosts are very friendly, and the breakfast is great, with no complaints.

“Relax, landelijk luxe verblijf met ook keuken beschikbaar.”

I stayed at a farmhouse on a dead‑end street, and it felt authentically rustic. The room was large and the shower was fantastic. The bakery nearby offered tasty pastries and small dishes. Breakfast was truly excellent, with fresh ingredients. Cycling along La Bruche (the little river) takes about 50 minutes to Strasbourg, and on another day I rode a 5‑mile stretch of the wine route. Marie, the owner, gave great tips that helped a lot.

Marie greeted us warmly and was very friendly, enjoying chatting with guests. The setting was pleasant, and the bedroom was tastefully decorated, as was the breakfast area. The breakfast spread was incredibly comprehensive—well done. She also gave good advice on a good restaurant’s location.
