The apartment was lovingly decorated and the hosts were very warm. The connection to Bude was a bit inconvenient for us backpackers because the bus stopped running in the evening.

We stayed for a few quiet days and it was the perfect escape; we left feeling recharged. The hosts were great, present when needed but otherwise left us alone. They kindly brought our drying beach towels when we were out and it rained, and they dried them for us too.

I had a wonderful time at Stratton Gardens. I was there for a nearby wedding, so the location was very convenient. The gardens were beautiful and the hosts were friendly.
