Although I stayed for only one night, this resort left the best impression on me during my trip to Sri Lanka. It was clean and bright, and the view of the mountains from the balcony made me wish I could have stayed longer. What touched me even more was Dilu. He had tried to contact me early on to offer a ride from the town to the hotel—even though such a service wasn't part of the package—though I hadn't been able to respond. The meals were also delicious. When I was leaving the next day, he noticed I was worried about not having enough small change; he insisted on accompanying me by tuk-tuk to town to get change, waited with me at the bus station, and even instructed the driver to remind me when to get off! He is an outstanding employee who goes far beyond the call of duty—I am truly grateful to him! I hope to visit again someday!
