The view of the old town. Central location, close to the city centre. Bicycle storage in the owner’s courtyard. Already upon arrival we were told that the large sliding doors wouldn’t open properly. During the stay we found that the railing on the “terrace” was very loose, so we were always afraid of falling into the water. The size of the “terrace” does not match the pictures; four people had no space together. Also the tap in the kitchen and the sink in the bathroom were loose. The toilet seat was missing a fixing screw, so there was always a risk of slipping down the toilet. There was no hot water while showering. The windows were dirty with many small insects. There was no wardrobe or storage for clothes, making stays of several nights difficult. The doors and sliders of the kitchenette were crooked and could only be opened with difficulty. The access path to the boat was a public area that many dog owners used as a “toilet.” Due to the many defects we informed the owner in writing that we would leave one night earlier. We only received a response 1.5 days later. We cannot understand the positive reviews for the Superior Houseboat.
