The road to get there is really bad.

The owners upgraded us to the 8 sleeper unit free of charge, and it was self‑catering. We liked spending time on the big stoep, which was nice and private, and the bedding was really soft and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool because it was autumn, but it would be a great spot to cool off in hot summer months. The water in the showers had good pressure and was hot. The house is comfortable and big, perfect for a family get‑together, and we enjoyed the silence in the evenings. We went for day trips to Cullinan, which was a great experience, and also visited Dinokeng, which was a major disaster. The only complaint was that the carpets in the rooms were a bit tired.

The owners were very welcoming, and the getaway was truly a getaway. The roads are a bit of a challenge; we discovered this after a rain storm, but the locals and owners were quick to help. The stay was too short 😭.
