“Good but could be improved.”
The team were very helpful, but I’d love a wider range of fruit teas and more interesting nibbles in the room—S&V crisps or popcorn feel dull! The pillows were pretty thin.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent.

The hotel sits in an old building and the floors are extremely noisy; every time someone walks in the room above, their footsteps are crystal clear in our room. The room was cold and we had to ask for a portable heater. The facilities and overall standards were very disappointing for a four‑star hotel. The mattresses were extremely old and worn out, with springs sticking out, which caused me severe back pain and sleepless nights. The shower drainage was terrible; each time I showered the water wouldn’t drain, leaving me in a pool of soapy water until it finally cleared, and sometimes I had to step out with soap still on my feet. When we asked the staff to help arrange a rental car, they simply told us we’d have to travel to the other side of the city to pick one up. Overall, the hotel fell far below the standards expected of a four‑star establishment, especially regarding comfort, maintenance, facilities, and customer service.

A beautiful authentic hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast was top quality and the location is superb. The room itself was a bit dated.
