The place is in a great spot and super quiet, and the staff were all friendly and ready to help with any questions I had – would definitely recommend it 100%.

We stayed right on top of Nob Hill, just a block from The Masonic where we caught the Danny Elfman concert on Saturday night – that was why we flew in for a long weekend. The location was perfect, with great restaurants nearby and an easy walk to BART, plus a convenience store right across the street. We appreciated the charm of the old SF Victorians over any slick modern hotels; it felt homey and cozy, with a gorgeous lobby, a classic elevator, and a room that was clean and comfortable. Street noise was manageable with the windows closed and the air conditioning was spot‑on. The bathroom was a pleasant surprise – beautifully updated with deep bronze tiles, a marble sink and fixtures, and even a fancy toilet with a heated seat and multi‑function bidet. Tea and coffee were available 24/7 in the lobby, and there were always a few snacks on the dining table. The staff were friendly and eager to help with anything, but we didn’t need to ask for anything because everything we needed was already thoughtfully provided. There was nothing at all to criticize.

The hotel was cute, very clean, and the staff were friendly. I wish they had given us earplugs (which they keep behind the counter) before I lost a night’s sleep to the noise; a helpful tip would be to have them in the rooms already. That was the only downside.
