The location is fantastic – right across from the hotel is Bikini Beach, and the best spot for snorkeling is directly opposite (on the Bikini Beach itself, near the finlohu, it’s easier to sunbathe but less convenient to swim because of the current). From that part of the beach you also get great views, a cheap and tasty beach restaurant nearby, and an incredibly cool staff – the manager and the chef answered all requests quickly, answered every question, helped with everything, and were very polite. Most of the trip I was alone in the hotel, very quiet and calm. There was a wide selection of excursions, and at the end of my stay they gave me a trip to a neighboring beach island (you can swim there yourself across the strait, but due to the strong current it’s better to take a boat). The room was good and spacious with everything needed (the dryer was a separate plus), plenty of storage, and at my request they gave a hair dryer in the room. Breakfasts were simple, but the chef asked about my preferences and adapted them for me (for example, adding more eggs instead of bread). The room was refreshed daily. The plumbing is old; in the bathroom there’s a smell if you turn off the extractor (but when I kept it on 24/7 the smell didn’t appear). There are no beach loungers, but there are usually places to lie down.
