The location is excellent, quiet, and a minute from the beach—perfect for heading to Lefka Ori and other sights. The beds were too small for a 185 cm tall person and his partner, typical tiny Greek beds that make two‑person sleep uncomfortable. There was no wardrobe, no trash bin in the room, so we stored garbage in a plastic bag. Although the accommodation says you can make coffee and tea, you have to wash cups in the bathroom. To cut a melon, I had to buy a knife and fork. I’m not picky, but basic necessities would be appreciated at that price. I understand there’s a restaurant included and you’re encouraged to buy everything there. Honestly, 5 km from Maleme to the interior, we ate well with larger portions for half the price.

The spot is great and the room looks fantastic. Everyone was friendly and the beachside restaurant was a real treat. The only downside was that the bathroom felt a little old‑fashioned.

We stayed in Maleme, a genuinely beautiful and charming vintage town, and from the moment we arrived, Valentino and his wife welcomed us with open arms. They escorted us to our room, which was spotless, cozy, and featured a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The downstairs restaurant served the best Greek traditional dishes we’ve ever tasted, each bite fresh and natural—definitely a highlight of our trip. The whole experience felt amazing; my husband and I felt right at home, and the vibe and warmth of everyone were unforgettable. We’ll definitely come back. Just a heads‑up: we got a bit lost because there are similar hotel names nearby, so typing the restaurant’s name into your maps will point you straight to the hotel.
