“Appartement au calme”

A simple room in a nice apartment. My host was very welcoming, and I could park my motorcycle in a spot in the basement. Restaurants are a 5‑minute walk from the accommodation. A large shopping mall is reachable by car in 10 minutes, and the Barcelona city center is 30 minutes away via the highway. The pool is large and not crowded. My stay went well. Nothing to report.

I liked how quiet the area was and that the S1 train station was only a 5‑minute walk away, dropping me straight into Barcelona in 20 minutes. Parking was free in the underground garage. The room and bathroom were comfortable, and the apartment had a shared kitchen, living room and other rooms. On the downside, the check‑in took a long time; the owner had me wait 20 minutes for the apartment to be ready, even though I arrived after the scheduled time. The room wasn’t cleaned and the trash wasn’t taken out while I was there. There was a hair‑dryer box, but it was empty. Soundproofing was missing, so I could hear everything from other tenants, the doors slamming, the kitchen appliances when people cooked, etc. The bed needed a new mattress and two pillows instead of the single, stiff one it had.

“No invoice from owner”

The owner never sent me an invoice. I asked him in person during a visit and he only replied via WhatsApp, saying it would be sent, but I never received an email or invoice.
