Mercure Hotel Düsseldorf Neuss

The hotel’s location was good and the staff always friendly and accommodating, but the rooms were noticeably old, in need of renovation, and not modernly equipped; the way to the rooms was cumbersome, requiring the elevator first and then passing through two doors and additional corridors. Overall, the stay fell short of my expectations, and despite the good location and friendly staff, I would not book it again because of the room condition and the awkward layout.

“Ervaring beperkt, maar één overnachting.”

I ate on the terrace beside the dining room, while the staff was busy renovating the garden and pool; it didn't bother me. My ground‑floor room had just been refurbished, but the air‑conditioning was still broken, so the price was very reasonable and that didn’t bother us.

The location is good, close to the highway, yet surprisingly quiet. The bed was so close to the wall that I had to lean sideways to get in, and the extra bed made the room feel cramped. The furnishings were quite old.

“Nicht noch einmal!”

The room had to be changed because the carpet had unidentifiable stains that were disgusting, and the odor was unbearable. The second room was somewhat better, but still not recommended.

Eingangsbereich schön gestaltet. Zimmer und Flure in die Jahre gekommen. Alles etwas schmuddelig. Teppich hat Flecken, Wand neben dem Bett verschmutzt. Zimmer muffig
