The receptionist greeted me warmly, the bed was large and comfortable, the twin recliner was nice, and the shower was good; however, the advertised toaster, kitchenware, and alarm clock were missing, as were bowls, plates, and cutlery, so we ate cereal from a glass with a teaspoon for breakfast.

Very little was good, but everything was dated and a demolition and rebuild would be a good idea.

Extremely friendly staff at check-in, spotless room, bedlinen and towels, 2min walk to the Pacific Coffee Company, which is open from 6am to 6pm. As a female traveller, I felt completely safe and well looked after.

The place was spotless, the room was fine, and the bed was comfy, but the shower tiles were really slick.
