“Amazing place great atmosphere”
The place was amazing – the garden and pools are great, dinner was exceptional and the staff were very friendly. The room was not very comfortable; the toilet and shower were upstairs with no sink, and the bathroom and sinks were downstairs.

The property sits in a vineyard surrounded by hills and woods. It’s a beautiful setting; the vineyards, lawns, and gardens are peaceful and serene, picture‑postcard pretty. Parking is easy and shaded, and the wine tasting for guests was informative, excellent, and very enjoyable. The staff are generally lovely, helpful, and very friendly, especially the reception and the restaurant wait staff. This part of France is gorgeous and the staff explain how best to experience it. The restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but the restaurant itself suffered from poor organization and control. At times it was irritating to be served entrees before the amuse‑bouche, to be rushed between courses, and to miss basics like olive oil or bread. This is not a cheap hotel and the restaurant, while not Michelin‑starred, is still part of an otherwise high‑quality property. Overall, our experience would have been rated much higher but for this disappointment.
