The calm was appreciated, but the breakfast was mediocre for a 4‑star, the decor felt dated, and the spa had no potable water available.

The breakfast was fantastic, especially the homemade spreads that were simply divine, and the coffee came from a high‑end machine rather than cheap instant. The ladies serving breakfast were incredibly friendly, quick and helpful – a level of service you don’t see in most places. Room service was equally excellent, with very courteous staff, spotless rooms and one of the attendants even helped me lug my heavy luggage. The only downside was that breakfast didn’t start until 7:30, which felt like a hassle for early risers, and the free Wi‑Fi was mediocre, so I ended up watching videos on my phone’s hotspot.

The staff are very attentive and extremely friendly, there’s free parking and free entry to the outdoor pool, the location is good for day trips, and the breakfast buffet offers many homemade items, including gluten‑free options. The only drawback is the limited space at the breakfast buffet.

Location was very good. We liked the waterfall, the river and the walk in the woods. Beds were comfortable. Price was too high compared to what the hotel offered. The staff could have been kinder. Coffee at breakfast was really bad and the breakfast options rather poor. The shower was leaking so there was a lot of water on the floor after showering. Toilet is separated from the bathroom which is not very convenient for washing hands (only available in the bathroom). We only got two normal pillows and two very thin pillows, although we booked a family room for 4 people so we had to ask for 2 additional pillows
