I booked at a higher rate because I was promised a mobile 10 sea view room, but it never materialised, which left me disappointed; on top of that, a dirty hoover was left in the living room, though they did replace the dirty pots and pans. The room was cleanish and of fair size.

The site is clean, well laid out, and the staff were helpful. It was also very quiet, which matters to me. However, there was no toilet paper, dish cloth, or washing-up liquid—essential items I’ve never encountered missing. The lounge seating was uncomfortable, Wi‑Fi was only available for a ridiculous fee (unacceptable in 2026), and the phone signal was almost nonexistent, preventing me from staying in touch with family.

The dinners were excellent, especially the range of GF options, and every staff member was friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. I just noticed there isn’t much space, so an extra hook or two for larger towels—bath and beach—would have been handy.

Nothing really stood out. The beds were uncomfortable; in fact, it was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever tried to sleep in.

Some staff were lovely and the location is great for the beach. However, the caravan’s shower was rusty, the toilet seat was broken, the hoover didn’t pick up well, the toilet was blocked, and when I rang the number there was no answer and no reply to the message I left. There’s no sign anywhere indicating that you wake up with a view of a gas plant, and alarms go off quite regularly.
