The hotel has a unique vibe, sits in a bustling, lively part of San Diego, is well furnished, and the windows block noise. Our penthouse offered a spectacular view of the Gaslamp district, and the staff were very attentive and helpful.

Alex at the front door was always kind and helpful. The hotel smells strange—different odors in the lobby and a strong one in the elevator that feels like cleaning chemicals mixed with bad smells. The photos look better than the actual place; it feels like a haunted hotel. A vending machine in the lobby is broken. In my room, even with the AC off, I could hear other rooms' AC units. The bathroom sink clogged easily and the shower had mold. I wouldn’t recommend this place for leisure or business travelers; it’s not a pleasant stay.

The receptionist works from 9 am to 4 pm. This hotel is the worst I’ve seen; everything is dirty, broken, and cheap. Even airport restrooms look cleaner and better equipped.

Personal hat täglich erkundigt ob man etwas braucht. Das Zimmer (Junior Suite) hatte den Charme einer Gefängniszelle. Zwar groß aber leer, keine Dekoration, keine Nachttischlampen, grau gestrichener optisch schmutziger Fußboden, Ausblick auf eine Wand, Dusche etc alles in einem Raum, wie eine Zelle, es haben nur noch die Gitterstäbe gefehlt. Furchtbares unpraktisches Design vom Vorbesitzer von vor 15 Jahren. Steckdosen hinter dem Nachtschrank, kein Lichtschalter oder Licht am Bett, Waschbeckenabstand furchtbar,. . Das nervigste war aber das ständige Getrampel und Gepolter aus dem Penthouse über uns. Für eine gute Bewertung gäbe es 20% auf den nächsten Aufenthalt, auch andere Hotels des Besitzers aber nicht einmal für 100% will ich wieder dahin
