A beautiful lakeside location with a gorgeous garden – a lovely place to be, well‑maintained, and great food. It was cold, which detracts from the setting, but that’s beyond their control. An extra blanket in the room would be a nice luxury.

A truly picturesque spot right by the lake, with a super‑beautiful garden and charming little cottages. We ended up sleeping in a (black) tent that was hot during the day, cold and damp at night, with an old mattress that let you feel all the springs, floppy pillows, and a sheet that was too small and came loose with every turn, leaving you on the mattress. An extra blanket would have been welcome; we slept in our clothes instead. We booked two nights but left after one. The toilets are about 20 metres away, and the sink for brushing teeth is outside so everyone can see you.

A magical, quiet place surrounded by nature.

I appreciated the zip‑round plastic cover that kept the rain out, but there was no hot water at all. As soon as I stepped into the bathroom I could smell stale urine, and the towels were damp and had a bad odor. The canteen offered very limited food options.

The view and surroundings are gorgeous, with nearby trekking routes through the forest and waterfalls that are truly stunning. Sitting in the garden while eating, watching the lake and mountains, is very peaceful and relaxing. The staff are friendly and always ready to help, so I would definitely recommend this place and hope to return. When it rains a bit, water can seep through the wooden wall, but that’s not a problem if you lay a towel on the ground.
