Hotel Caliente

The noise was relentless; the staff didn’t respect quiet, people played music, talked, and shouted all night, and I stayed two days without sleeping any of the two nights.

The hotel sits in a very strategic spot, easy to reach, near a good bakery, a pizza place, a little bar, and a wine shop; the place itself is simple, tidy, and livable. However, a bed had bedbugs that kept moving around one of my relatives, so we had to split a bed; the air‑conditioner didn’t work, it was very hot because of poor airflow, and there’s no sound insulation—you can hear people inside the room, making it hard to sleep. If they invested in acoustic insulation it would be great. The area has few hotels, so it’s not a good spot for business travelers; the reception is sometimes empty, making it difficult to get help. Overall, we didn’t have a good experience; we were close to the business but didn’t rest, and we had a terrible night.

I didn’t like anything. The place was basically a motel, with an unbearable cigarette smell and terrible mildew. My family and I didn’t even sleep; we just stayed around 3 am, showered, and left. We couldn’t stay overnight because the mildew and cigarette odor were too strong. In short, I paid but didn’t fully use the services.

It’s clean for the price, and I was surprised by the simple but good breakfast; the only downside is that it’s a motel next to the hotel. They should note that it also functions as a motel. We were lucky this night was quiet because we had children, and I booked last minute due to some unforeseen issues, so I didn’t have time to read reviews.
