“Wonderful short stay”

Beautiful location, spacious and comfortable; we didn’t dislike anything.

“A wonderful house with a relaxed atmosphere.”

Wonderful, spacious, and peaceful; there were no grocery cupboards, so we had to bring all groceries.

This lodge feels luxurious, super comfortable, and well equipped, making you feel like you’re living a safari with Pumbas and impalas roaming the backyard; the rooms are spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable; distances in Hoedspruit are long, the nearest commercial area is 4 km away, and our landlord kindly arranged transportation for grocery shopping; we enjoyed our stay and would love to return if we’re back in Hoedspruit; checkout in South Africa is earlier than elsewhere, in this case at 10 am with the cleaner arriving at 8:30 am; our flight was at 15:30 hrs and there isn’t much to do in the area besides a supermarket and a couple of shops 4 km away.

“Geräumige Unterkunft die Buschfeeling vermittelt”

Warthogs Rest is a lovely place that was visited daily during our stay, including by Warthogs. The vibe inside and around Warthogs Rest invites you to enjoy Africa, and we had a wonderful time there. We unfortunately had a few not-so-great incidents during our stay, but the hosts quickly fixed things so we could have a nice week.
