The lady who ran the place was really warm and welcoming, which made the short stopover pleasant. Since we got there late at night and left early the next morning – just a quick night before heading to Providencia – I didn’t get a real feel for the neighborhood.

Nothing about this place was decent – the bathroom was filthy, covered in hair, and the sink was a black mess. We booked two rooms, then were told the first one was occupied by a sick guest (who we actually saw outside eating fried food), and they tried to charge us extra for another room. The staff slammed our door shut while our kids were sleeping, and there was no toilet paper or soap in the room; the host said we had to bring our own.

Doña Jazmín was super friendly and the spot is right near a bunch of eateries—a diner, bakery, ice‑cream shop, and a grocery where you can grab stuff to cook. The location is handy, but the bed’s mattress left a lot to be desired.

The lady, Yasmín, was very kind, and the place is just a short walk to both the downtown area and the central beach, making it easy to get around.
