Being on the 14th floor gave me a fantastic view and the bathroom was close by. This was my third visit to Hokkaido in a month, staying at different hotels. The parking and check‑in staff were courteous and clear. Every breakfast was a buffet, but the selection was limited and at the lowest level. Still, the dining staff were excellent.

The hotel sits in the city center, so you can walk to sightseeing spots. The room was cramped and I struggled to find space for my suitcase, and the bed was hard, causing aches.

As a base for sightseeing, the location is great with trams, buses, and Goryōkaku Park right outside; early‑morning walks, restaurants, and shops are just a few minutes away. The building feels clean and eco‑friendly, and its compact size works well for solo travelers or groups. The only downside is the hard bed, which may be tough for those who have trouble falling asleep.
