The staff were great, and the pool area was nice, but the room didn’t feel like a suite. Given the rate we paid, it was disappointing to have a view of another person’s laundry, and to see a cat drinking from the pool with no staff present to deal with it. Even though we booked a junior suite, the room had no balcony and was fitted as an accessible room. The gym is also very small for a five‑star hotel and feels cramped with more than two people using it. The restaurant does not hold tables for hotel guests during peak times, so we were forced to eat earlier than we wanted. Priority for a table should be a benefit of staying at the hotel. Arriving by car is stressful and hectic, as the front entrance opens directly onto a busy road.
