Quiet and convenient, this unique maison is filled with art and antiques. Our room with en‑suite opened onto a terrace with a view of the skyline, and we harvested ripe figs from branches that reached our terrace. Our breakfasts were generous and delicious. The staff were cheerful and kind, and the proprietor was particularly interesting and patient.

The location is good, but the room is small and the bathroom is also small.

The host spoke very good English, but the house is old-fashioned and dated, there are no mosquito nets, and there is no air conditioning (both would have been badly needed).

The location is in a lovely quiet area, a stone’s throw from Paris. The bed was nice, the rooftop terrace was pleasant, and breakfast was good. The people were friendly! Having our own parking spot was very convenient. A tip for dinner: brasserie Rives de Bièvre on the outdoor terrace. We rode bikes from the location to Paris, which was fine to do. A fridge in the room would be a nice addition.
