The staff were kind, but the overall experience was terrible: poor cleanliness, bed bugs and ants in the rooms (even in the bed). We booked two rooms for two nights at this agriturismo for a stay with friends and a child. From the moment we arrived the experience was extremely negative. In one room we found bed bugs and ants in the bed, an unacceptable situation, especially with a child present. The couple with the child left immediately, driving four hours back home without even staying a single night. (Luckily we got a refund through Booking). My wife and I tried to stay, but the room was dirty and smelled damp. We left the next morning after only one night, giving up the second night we had paid for. The refund process was also disappointing: we received a refund for the room of the couple that left early, but not for ours, even though we left early due to the conditions. The breakfast included in the package was also a letdown: plain packaged brioche and a carton of milk left on the kitchen table, far from what one would expect at a Tuscan agriturismo. In short, the stay was ruined by hygiene issues, unsatisfactory rooms, a very poor breakfast, and an unfair refund handling. It’s not the kind of experience one expects when booking and paying to relax. We would not return or recommend this place.
