Location, 8min drive from french quarter, and good price compared to the city center

The spot is handy, with a bunch of malls and eateries nearby; just cross the bridge and you’re in downtown Charleston. Service was good, breakfast was solid, laundry machines were available, and parking was plenty. Only downside: they gave us just one chair even though we booked a room for two or more, and eating in bed isn’t really our thing.

We had no complaints over the two nights. The location was very quiet and finally not noisy to the point of hearing through the walls. The TV was old and Netflix wasn’t available. The lady at reception could have been friendlier, but otherwise everything was fine.

“Terrible air con”

The place is clean and mostly well kept, with decent parking. The evening reception lady was friendly and helpful. However, the air‑con, while working, was ineffective—too weak to cool the room, so I couldn’t sleep. The bathroom door setup is absurd; a sliding door is fine, but it needs a proper handle. Morning reception staff were rude and ignorant—just a smile and a “good morning” would have sufficed.
