“Vriendelijk onthaal, lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt”
We enjoyed the beautiful view, a huge and tasty breakfast, and the staff’s friendliness, plus the rooms felt very spacious—perfect for a one‑night stopover while traveling; the only downside was that it felt a bit pricey for what it offers.
The stay was good, but everything fell short.

The location was truly paradise, with monkeys, chipmunks, idyllic beaches, gorgeous sunsets from the pool, and stunning skies. The food was fabulous, the staff were exceptional, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Nothing.

The scenery was spectacular and the grounds excellent, offering quiet far from the crowds (though not everyone knows how to get there or makes it up the hill); the large rooms featured showers and toilets with ocean views, and ours was the closest to the water. The pool wasn’t huge, but just right for sipping drinks and watching sunsets—pure bliss. The hosts were always eager to help, especially Indigo, who deserves a big thanks. The price felt steep for Sri Lanka, with cheaper options elsewhere, but you pay for the view. The beach at Unawatuna is about a 15‑minute walk, as is Jungle Beach, which didn’t bother us much but is worth noting. Breakfast was the biggest let‑down: the buffet items were odd, and we only realized on day three that we needed to ask for a simple omelette or similar. The communal plates held very strange food, and with eight of us there, nobody was impressed—definitely needs revamping.
