“教えていただいた息栖神社に行って来ました!地元の方にしか分からないきめ細やかなサービスがありがたかったです。大変お世話になりました。”
The building and facilities were very clean and new. The bread was soft and tasty, and the interior and equipment were sleek. Even if you’re not used to guest houses, this place feels safe to stay in. The downside is that slippers aren’t allowed, so I walked around barefoot in socks. I sweated a lot when I arrived and felt uneasy walking barefoot after the shower. The hallway was spotless, but I worried about hygiene, especially since other guests might also be barefoot. I read a review about thin walls and hearing neighbors’ voices, and indeed I could hear nighttime phone conversations, though it quieted down by 10 pm, which was fine. I arrived late at night, so the street lights were sparse and the entrance had a tiny logo that was hard to see, making it confusing to find the right building.
