The staff were very pleasant, the room and dinner were perfect, breakfast was average, and there was nothing else to note.

Fabulous staff, incredible setting. Would highly recommend the restaurant. Hikes from the door into the gorgeous Pyrenees forests. Rooms were comfortable and had views that took our breath away. Staff were wonderful, friendly, attentive and so welcoming. We were really surprised it was so quiet at what must be peak season. As part of an amazing 2 week road trip, this was the highlight, due to the hotel the surroundings and the wonderful staff. The pillows were a little uncomfortable!

We love the location, the facilities, and the service. We wish there were an electric kettle and cups to drink from, or a minibar in the room.

The views from our room were lovely, the staff were exceptional and helped us whenever we needed it, there were some lovely walks nearby, the beds were comfy and clean, and overall it was a really lovely, peaceful stay, but the lack of public transport to the property meant we had to rely on Ubers which are pricey, and a kettle in the room would also be good although staff were able to give us boiled water.

The location is in the mountains by a lake, with plenty of hiking trails, so you don’t need to drive. The rustic charm is appealing. The restaurant is great, and breakfast is nice. It’s quiet and adventurous. I’m worried places like this will disappear! It was a small Swiss‑style lodge.
