Hotel Gangaaddara

“Comfortable stay and value for money”

I recently stayed at a hotel that had a very strict check-out policy, which made it difficult for me to extend my stay by a couple of hours. Although the hotel's location was not a major issue for me, the limited options at the breakfast buffet were a letdown, especially since they only offered Indian dishes. Overall, my experience at this hotel was marred by its inflexible policies and limited amenities.

“nice location ,good staff . hotel need good maintainance”

The hotel's location, situated on the edge of the Mahaweli River, was one of its most attractive features. However, the room ambiance was a major letdown due to the presence of dirty patches on the walls, which detracted from the overall ambiance. Despite this, the hotel's scenic surroundings made up for the subpar room conditions.

“Nice and quiet place by the river”

My stay at this hotel was good enough for my purposes, but I wouldn't say it exceeded my expectations in any way. It was a decent place to rest my head, but I didn't have any particularly memorable experiences during my stay.

Although the hotel was a bit of a trek from the town center, its peaceful surroundings made it a great place to unwind. However, the lack of laundry services was a significant inconvenience, as I had to venture out to a nearby laundry three blocks away. To make matters worse, the staff were not very helpful in assisting me with my laundry needs.

I was impressed by the beautiful view from my room and the courteous staff, who made me feel welcome during my stay. However, I didn't have high expectations to begin with, and the hotel generally met those expectations. It's not a place to look for anything extraordinary, but it's a decent option nonetheless.
