The spot was great, staff were helpful, and having a parking lot was a major plus, though the entry and exit were a bit troublesome. The rooms were clean, but the furnishings and general equipment felt old; it felt like a grandmother’s house, and I expected more.

Good location and price, but the hotel was very noisy—you could hear neighbors and street traffic, which was annoying.

La calidad de la habitación, la entrada discreta, la tranquilidad, la cercanía al Bazar y a la avenida principal. El desayuno es escaso

Choosing a budget property and then expecting Ritz‑level service is a mistake; I loved this place and almost everything about it. I stayed in a former house annexed to the hotel, with wood floors and ceilings, a lovely staircase, and living areas. There was a porch with a couple of tables where you could smoke or have coffee, and inside the house on other floors there were central areas with nice tables—almost boutique‑hotel feel with period furniture. Two blocks down the hill was the grand mosque, and the huge bazaar with silk, cloth, antiques, silver, and the large vegetable, fruit, meat, and fresh market. Downhill, about three blocks, was the bus stop for bus 38, which goes straight to the main bus station outside town. In the next block were two grocery stores, and restaurants lined the streets—convenient. The beds were comfy, there was an AC unit that also heated, and a warming unit in the bathroom, though it wasn’t cold enough to work. The staff were over‑the‑top, friendly, and helpful, and a living area had antiques that I found charming, as did the night‑shift worker. A small fridge in the room was nice, and across the street there was a place to buy beer, possibly wine or other hard liquor, though I didn’t check. The downside: I requested a first‑floor room, so my windows faced the parking lot and I had to keep blinds closed for privacy, whereas upper‑floor rooms wouldn’t need that. Breakfast was a pre‑packed plate with several items, and the one time I ate it, it seemed to be leftovers from the day before. For the price I paid, I didn’t mind at all. My room didn’t have enough lighting, especially in one corner, partly because everything is dark wood and absorbs light.
