“Bon hôtel pour qui est de passage.”

The room was clean and the view of the lake was nice (no vasssiviere). There was a closed‑off smell in the reception and dining areas, a bit of clutter and poor organization in the dining room, and they did not offer dinner on site.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They promptly contacted me after I left my e‑reader behind. The bed and room were very comfortable, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast with an attentive host.

“Deception”

The photos on your site look nice and give hope of a beautiful place; the hotel exterior is pretty and the building across is superb. But the reception area is in a corner, not open to guests, poorly arranged, and the breakfast is disappointing. The owners seem well‑meaning but lack hotel professionalism. Very disappointing—it was for a weekend for my sister’s birthday and I was very embarrassed. We had booked two separate beds two days before, but the staff told us to separate them, which was impossible because there was one house sheet, one duvet, and they didn’t offer to do the necessary.

“Super séjour!”

The hotel was spotless and the room was roomy. The owners welcomed us warmly. Breakfast was hearty and balanced, and dinner was just as good. The location is perfect for great hikes, and the view of the pond was lovely.
