The staff were very friendly and attentive, but there is no metro access to the center of Valencia.

The room is pretty spacious and the shower is amazing. The TV is huge for a hotel room, but with the Wi‑Fi cutting out it didn’t help much.

The room is wide enough, breakfast was great but I didn’t try it, I noticed that later. The window opens, and with the city’s edge birdsong it’s a nice hotel near the market, restaurants, grocery and public transport. A bus from the back street of Valencia centre takes 30‑35 minutes. Because the stay was short it wasn’t a big issue, but the ventilation is poor, and from the moment you enter the reception you smell oil and food all the way to the room doors. The receptionists could be a bit more cheerful, it would be nice. The rooms lack slippers, a kettle and water.

The reception and the bedding quality are good, and it’s quiet. Be careful to type the GPS as “Hôtel Plaza Aquales”; typing “Plaza aquales” leads you to a not very recommended neighborhood.
