“Cheap place to stay but dirty”

The spot was reasonably priced and in a good area, and the bedroom hot tub was a nice touch, though it got scorching hot. The room was filthy—food crumbs, trash, a burnt tube that looked like drug paraphernalia on the bathroom floor, a flickering light over the tub, a cramped shower, a fridge with a funky odor, and a remote smeared with something. It all gave off an old, run‑down, musty vibe. We skipped breakfast, but a sign said you could only take one of each item. They required a $50 deposit that was returned after checkout, but my boyfriend—who actually checked us out—wasn't told about it; when I realized it hadn’t been refunded, I had to come back the next day to get it.

“Not the best at cleaning up, I ended up not staying.”

I never actually stayed there. The staff were friendly and the location was decent. The bed seemed like it would be comfortable if I was okay lying on it, and the room felt like an average, slightly outdated place. When I inspected the room upon arrival, as I always do, I found dirty spots and dead bugs in the picture frames. I immediately felt uneasy about staying because I wasn’t sure live bugs might be around. I went back to the front desk, showed them photos, and they said “there are no bugs, those just got missed when cleaning up from a previous issue with bugs,” but they were polite when I said I still wasn’t comfortable and I was able to get my refund. If they had fixed that before I arrived, I might have stayed.

It was cheap and comfortable after a long day of driving. Lots of water damage on floors and ceilings
