The overwater bungalows were roomy and the view from the outdoor terrace was great; the reception also offered a refreshment. No issues.

We loved the hotel, ate wonderfully, and found Reza, the owner, and his team extremely pleasant; the river view was stunning, and the property is perfectly within walking distance of Tangkahan’s centre, its beautiful river and the elephants.

The staff, especially André and Rini, were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and there were plenty of fun activities nearby, including the best jungle day tour we did, but at night we heard a lot of noises from animals on the roof of one of the cabins, which is a serious drawback for light sleepers; several facilities such as the toilet and shower didn’t work properly, and the cabins didn’t match what was advertised.

A fantastic place with a magnificent river view, spacious rooms, discreet yet caring staff, and excellent cuisine. It’s ideally situated 700 m from the hot spring source and 500 m from the elephants.
