The location was excellent and Sorrel was friendly, but there was no prior confirmation about check‑in details, the bedroom door lacked a lock despite sharing communal spaces, and the bath was not clean and, as other reviews note, there was no bath plug.

The location was good, the host Paul was courteous and welcoming, and the room was spacious and well‑ventilated, but the overall cleanliness was poor, an unpleasant odor lingered from arrival to departure, and the breakfast, while tasty, was offered in limited quantities.
