The place was fine overall; I didn’t run into any problems during my stay.

The staff welcomed us warmly even late at night, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately the room had no windows or any ventilation, so it felt almost unlivable and we had to step out just to breathe. The bathroom suffered the same lack of windows and fans, the sink’s drain splashed our feet, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly.

We had agreed I’d call the host after finishing my duties, but after seven‑eight attempts he never answered. Eventually his wife got back to me when I called from a different number. In a tiny town with few lodging options, that silence was especially frustrating.

The price was definitely a plus – you get a decent room for cheap. On the downside, there’s no air‑conditioning in the room and the bathroom lacks a shower curtain, so water sprays all over the floor during a shower.

The hotel sits in a great spot, close to everything you need. However, the building looks a bit rundown and could use some maintenance.
