The hotel is a 10‑minute drive from both the old and new city, and when we arrived we learned that check‑in would be at 16:00, which is the stated policy. They asked us to pay an extra $45 per room in taxes, so we added $90 that weren’t listed in either the hotel policy or the booking. The pool and spa are great, and breakfast is rich and excellent. The double room is spacious and family‑friendly, but the twin room is small and there was a stale smell of mildew. The taxes we had to pay were not mentioned on the booking or in the hotel policy, and the distance to the city is a hassle because you need a taxi every time; the buses aren’t available. The value for the price was not worth it – we paid a lot and expected something better.

“Prijs kwaliteit voor 5 sterren absoluut niet”

Accommodation and facilities were fine. The food and what’s included in the all‑inclusive package were not 5‑star quality. The restaurants’ food was absolutely not worth 5 stars. The buffet had a wide selection but absolutely not 5‑star quality.

The staff were nice and the facilities were good. No drinks were provided at dinner.

The staff are well‑trained and courteous. The breakfast buffet is full. For a hotel of this class, cleanliness should be a top priority, yet the simple layout of the corridors shows a lack of that priority.

The location and rooms are great. The dinner was bad (except for the salad buffet), breakfast was okay, but the food doesn’t live up to a 5‑star hotel.
