The building itself is 100 years old and they’re remodeling it, hoping to finish by next year according to a sign and what I think the manager or owner said. I love seeing old buildings preserved and restored rather than torn down. The only downside was that the Wi‑Fi code and TV code weren’t in the room; it would have been nice to have them, but they’re probably still working out those details now that the hotel is opening.

Brand new rooms with comfortable beds. The hotel is still “under construction,” which meant unexpected construction noise in nearby hallway runs at 8:30 am, plumbing noise, and random talking noises in the walls through the night. No additional facilities yet (breakfast, restaurant, bar, gym), and no drinking water was provided.

The lobby, lounge, and our floor had just been renovated; they kept the historic feel of this century‑old hotel while adding modern touches, and Keith along with the rest of the staff were excellent. The room felt a little cramped around the king‑size bed.

There was no breakfast as the restaurant is being renovated. Just recently opened and staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is new and clean. It will be better when you can get breakfast. Also they did not make your bed or give you clean towels for our 2nd night
