The location was nice, with a park opposite and a football pitch table and chairs to sit outside. However, there were not enough saucepans to cook with, not enough space to put plates, the owner needs more saucepans and trays, maybe a bigger fridge, and the fridge door was hard to open. I had to contact the owner because bed bugs appeared; both my kids got bites, I had to buy cream, remove all sheets and duvets, and they had to sleep on the pull‑out bed.

The place was in a good location, near the beach and amenities, and the host was lovely and available when needed.

The van was clean but a little small for five people. The caravan was fine, but I had never hired a van before and didn’t get a pass for the pool or entertainment; playing bingo or drinking in the hub and entering the pool would have cost another £150.

Nothing positive. The host scammed me: I paid and she booked me, then I was left homeless for that day; no one should book with this greedy woman, and she didn’t even apologise.
