“Moc prijemen ubytovani. Urcite doporucuji. :) A majitelum diky za mily a ochodny pristup. :) Diky”
The pension was very cozy, especially the owners’ willingness and friendly demeanor, which was always a big plus. They were happy to help with parking and everything else. Thanks. In town there was a festival on the square, so at night the street was full of drunk people, but that didn’t bother us. We also advised the young people—otherwise everything was fine.
“Poloha k centru veľmi príjemná.”
Raňajky chutili. Chýbajúce info o raňajkách na izbe formou "suchej desiatej". Hlučné remeselné práce v ubytovacom zariadení o 6,30 hod. a "rozdelenie" izieb personálom v rozpore s objednávkou. Na mieste napravené
The bed was comfortable, there was a TV, and the terrace on the third floor was freely accessible. However, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, had crumbs on the floor, and spider webs on the ceiling. We received a completely different room than the one we paid for and that was shown in the booking photo. The kitchen was missing; there was only a mini fridge and a kettle. The walls were paper, the noise was loud, and the rooms above us were thumping.
The location was great, right in the historic center.
“Perfect location”
The guesthouse sits in a fantastic spot right in the city centre, which is a major plus. They only take cash, but euros are accepted at the price listed on the confirmation, so no exchange‑rate hassle. The young receptionist is multilingual and very helpful, though not every staff member speaks English, which can be an obstacle. The place is clean and surprisingly quiet for a central location. The room didn’t match the photos or description: it wasn’t a studio but a relatively small room that could sleep three, and it lacked a kitchenette, microwave, etc. Breakfast costs €5 and is unpredictable – one day it’s tasty, another day the bread is always stale. No fresh coffee or milk is served; instead you get the breakfast ingredients in your room the day before, not in a fridge. I’d recommend crossing the street to the butcher shop for fresh cold cuts, and grabbing fresh bread rolls from the small supermarket two houses down. Don’t underestimate the stairs – they can be tough to climb. The terrace mentioned in the booking isn’t private or attached to the room; it’s on the roof and open to all guests.
