My son and I spent one night here while traveling to the Scottish Islands. We were greeted by a very warm Katarina who brought afternoon tea and cake—a lovely surprise. The house is gorgeous, set in a fantastic rural spot just a short drive from Tarbert. Everything was bright, clean, and inviting; the beds were very comfortable, and we were actually sad we couldn’t stay longer. Overall, a fabulous place with great location and host, topped off by an exceptional breakfast that helped us on our way to the Isles.

We had an excellent stay in Kirkland. Katarina was the ideal host, and the breakfast was fabulous with high‑quality ingredients. The bedroom was very spacious and beautifully presented, and we felt right at home thanks to Katarina and David’s warm welcome. The house sat in a lovely setting and was perfect for our family visit to the village. We’ll return next year!

The place is stunning, featuring a beautiful garden. The accommodation was quiet with a view of the garden. Our host was perfect—friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Thank you; it was great.
