The staff were extremely helpful and patient, spoke good English, and were very accommodating. The only downside is that if all APA rooms had a hot bath, it would be perfect.

I stayed in a central spot, the rooms were spotless, and the staff were super friendly, nothing else to mention.

Because the hotel is close to the station, even with a lot of luggage it was fine; the area is busy but there are plenty of restaurants nearby, giving many choices. However, several APA hotels are around Toyama Station, and some of them apparently have large public baths, but the Toyama Station South branch has none. I went there thinking it would have a big bath, so I was disappointed. Every place that serves Toyama ramen has a queue, so if you want ramen, you should head there right after opening.
