The surroundings were pretty, but the kitchen was the worst; a cat sneaked in and ate leftovers, making everything messier. The showers were full of bugs and cold, so I didn’t shower. The cat also wandered into the shops, which were disappointing.

The spot was surrounded by nature and looked great. However, there was no supervision, so safety felt lacking. Near our tent, a guy—probably on mushrooms—started shouting Polish curse words at 1 am and kicking his own tent, which scared us and left us too frightened to approach him. The bathrooms were decent, and the location was superb.

The location was remote and nice, but the tents had mold and the communal areas were poor.

It was novel to stay in a tent amid beautiful mountains, but the weather was stormy, so you could hear wind, rain, and the toilet block door banging because it doesn’t close properly. The tents were hard to spot in the dark, needed cleaning, and had mold inside. The decking outside most tents was broken. The kitchen was at a hostel level, while the WC/shower setup was like a campsite.

We chose the spot for its location, which was a great launch point for our hike. Contacting the owner was tough; calling worked, but written messages got no reply. We slept in a tent during heavy rain and it was soaked the next day, with a little water inside in the morning. We stayed only one night, it was fine, but I’d avoid staying long because the place needs a bit more upkeep.
